Working with me
I’m your main contact. There are no call centres or ticket queues, and I keep notes on your setup so you never explain things twice and nothing depends on anyone’s memory.
That's completely fine, and exactly who I like helping. You don't need to know the jargon. If I use a technical term, I'll say what it means. Ask me anything.
Both, and every size in between: sole traders, start-ups, growing teams and organisations with 100+ employees, as well as households and home offices.
I'm based in Colchester, Essex, and I work with clients across the UK. Most support can be done remotely, so where you're based isn't a barrier.
Pricing and contracts
Most things run on a rolling basis, and there is a discount if you commit for longer. There are never multi-year agreements, and the terms are always clear before you start.
You choose: pay as you go when you need help, a one-off price for a set-up project, or a fully managed monthly package. Everything is quoted upfront.
Yes. For example, I set up Microsoft 365 and leave the billing with you, then step in when you need a hand. Or I run the whole thing as a managed service.
I review your package regularly. Unused licences, duplicate tools and plans you've outgrown get trimmed so you only pay for what you use.
Technology
Yes, both, and mixed teams where some people are on Macs and some on Windows. I'll make sure everything works together.
Yes, for Macs. Jamf is a tool for managing Apple devices, and I use it for things like enrolment, apps and security settings. Windows PCs are managed with Microsoft 365 tools such as Entra ID. I'll also tell you honestly if it's more than your business needs.
Yes, both. I'll recommend whichever suits how your team works, and if you're already on one, I keep you there or move you across carefully.
Yes. I have significant hands-on experience with CRMs. I'll look at how you find and keep customers, recommend something that fits (not just the biggest name), then set it up and train your team.
Both. I start by learning how your business works, then recommend the platforms and workflows that fit, and explain why, so you're not left guessing from a list of products.
Yes. I'll look at what's in place first so nothing gets switched off by accident, then move things across properly.
You can be live 7 days from agreement. Most first drafts are ready in under 7 days. The full timeline depends on your content and how quickly we can review it together.
Yes. I can manage your domain alongside your hosting, email and SSL, so everything comes from one bill and one person instead of several providers.
Website design starts from £995, including a consultation and a review. Your first year of hosting, backups, SSL and email is free with any website design. After that, hosting starts from £30 per month, including an email mailbox, SSL and backups. Updates and SEO optimisation are optional extras. The final price depends on what your site needs, and I'll quote before we start.
Yes, please. Share your thoughts, inspiration and branding, and I design the site around them. I design every site myself, so I don't build from another designer's work.
Security and backups are part of how I set things up. I'll tell you where your data lives and who can access it.
AI and automation
Practical things: drafting emails and documents, answering common questions, summarising meetings, and automating repetitive admin between the tools you already use.
No. I'll set it up around how you already work and show you how to use it, step by step.
It depends on the tool and its settings. I help you choose tools with proper privacy controls and set clear rules about what should and shouldn't go in.
The aim is to take repetitive work off people so they can focus on the work that matters. And if AI isn't the right answer for something, I'll tell you.
Apps
A custom app is software built around how your business works, which can run in the browser or on the App Store and Google Play: bookings, quotes, invoices, client portals, rotas, dashboards and more. If you are using several tools and copying data between them, or fitting your business around an off-the-shelf subscription, it is worth a chat.
Yes, and I recommend it. We build the one thing that would help most, you use it for real, and then we add to it. New features are quoted separately, so you only pay for what you add. There are no multi-year agreements.
Usually. Payments, calendars, email, WhatsApp, accounting and spreadsheets can be connected, so a booking can become a quote, an invoice and a payment without anyone retyping it. If a tool has an API, there is a good chance.
Yes. Often the answer is automation and joining up the tools you already use, not new software. I’ll look at where your time goes and suggest the simplest fix first. If a custom app would genuinely pay for itself, I’ll say so and show you roughly how.
It’s very common, and fine until it starts costing you time or mistakes. If you’re retyping, chasing people or losing track of things, a simple app or some automation can take over that work and give you a clear view of your business.
Yes. Chatbots, analysis, reading documents and photos, and drafting replies. The AI sits inside your app, uses your own information, and you decide what it can and cannot do.
If you need it, yes. Most apps work well without the stores, but I can publish yours on the App Store and Google Play. That involves developer accounts and review by Apple and Google, which I will guide you through, and the store fees are separate.
On UK servers, with SSL, enterprise-grade malware and DDoS protection, and nightly backups. The backups are also kept with an external provider, so there are always two copies of your data. Hosting, backups and support all come from me, on one bill.
